Thinking of seeing an energy healer/ light touch chiropractor

Is it a good idea? She’s affordable. My concern is that I may have intrusive thoughts with her and that would make the session a torture.

I have an old co-worker who does the energy healing scam now. She freely tells me that the energy healing con makes her clients feel good and their money makes her feel good. And, yes, she did use the word “con”.

So there you go.

Yeah that’s how I feel about it also. I just want to see if it would work. I guess I’m filled with hopes.

As far as effectiveness, massages are pretty good at temporary relief

But I get you with, an hour with someone can be torture with TB or other symptoms.

Energy healing is a scam.

If you have issues with your neck then it’s better finding a physiotherapist. Or go have massage.

Energy healing is BS, and thats coming from someone who was naive and stupid enough to do training all the way through Reiki Master Practitioner. SMH

Save your money.

There may be alternative practicioners that are cons, but I believe most practicioners believe in what they do.

Not the same thing, but I have had positive results with zone theraphy for feet for dealing with stress and general wellbeing. One session usually lingers for about 2 weeks, so ideally I would do it twice a month, but it’s expensive.

I would see a physical therapist over this type of scam any day. If you can afford it, see anyone else really. A masseuse would be a better alternative as well. But I especially wouldn’t see a chiropractor with back pain. I learned that the hard way. Save your money!

I have tried a chiropractor once or twice. Made my back worse. Lucky they didn’t kill me. Physical therapy can be positive I think.

Personally I like it, but it’s pseudoscience and beyond the scope of this website.
