Very true. 
Straight from the Big Book, it’s how you personally define your Higher Power. (Wither it’s a Christian, Deist, Taoist God etc etc). It took me years to get this through my thick skull in order to sober up.

I’m an atheist and AA got me sober. So um… Yeah.
I didn’t need AA I cold turkey crack cocaine 10 years and 4 months ago I was on crack off and on for year and a half. Never was much of a drinker becuz that’s what my mom was. I struggle really bad with weed it’s off and on battle. But I’m reading daily reflections aa book. I suggest it for AA members
