My last therapist was a PHD psychologist and she was a dishonest, incompetent, piece of shitt

I think each state dictates qualifications for therapists.

In my state one doesn’t have to have advanced degrees or training

@Wave does your insurance provide a list of providers that includes therapists? You can check through your insurance.

No I’m through with therapists.
She’s helped me so far a long the way for the most part.
I was direct with her and she did apologize two times tonight.
I’ll give her another chance.

Good luck. I hope she takes that second chance with conviction.
With my previous pdoc I was in and out in 10 mins. My current one takes 30 mins for a consultation. Way better! Sometimes it’s good to swap though.
