You’re now just trying to deflect and be the victim. Being attacked would be if you were insulted and degraded. Or your pain at everything happening to you being made out to not be so bad.

You know, like you did to everyone else here that are going through serious problems due to the state of the world by brushing it off and saying it isn’t “as bad as (insert thing you think is worse)”

No one attacked you. Disagreeing and pointing out where you are being dismissive isn’t an attack. Please point out where anyone in this thread made an actual attack, please.

And your post here is disgusting. I just re-read it. You are threatening to vote against the needs of members JUST to get even with them for DISAGREEMENT? You think that you can hurt people in another country based on voting for twisted candidates?

I am flabbergasted that you are this childish. That isn’t an attack. It’s an informed opinion based on your very real typed.out threats to try to scare people.

How gross is that? That someone would say they’d vote against their own kind just for revenge over a forum disagreement?

The best thing you can do to get even is who and what you vote for the next time there’s an election. A good example of this is if reading on this forum that one of the people who attacked me has student loan debt, go in and vote for the candidate who opposes student loan debt forgiveness. That’s about the mildest example of what I can do when I vote. It’s only about six months until the 2024 caucuses and primaries start, and I’m researching right now who and what I want to vote for. This is way you can get even some of you guys haven’t ever thought of.

I’ve had about three people attack me on this forum and I see them post about belonging to the LGBTQ community, are on Medicaid, food stamps, and and live in HUD housing. One of them also lives in Canada. You may think there isn’t anything I can do to people who live in Canada, but there are candidates running for office who want the US to withdraw from Canadian trade agreements.

That’s probably all I should say about this, but one of the greatest things you have in a democracy is the right to vote and you should use it to your advantage.

There are so many important issues that affect us all, don’t vote for candidates that want to abuse human rights, stop helping people, abusing power and destroy the earth.

Voting in fascists - not a good idea - over disputes - disagreements.

We all lose.

I like your historical posts of history because they are informative and we can learn from past experiences.

I will say this, as much as I disagree with @John_Raven over his ideals, at least he is following strongly held beliefs, not using his votes for revenge. And for that, he has a huge chunk of my respect far and above you, @anon54988740

And I hope John Raven sees this. I hope he sees that someone on the “other side” can respect him for his convictions well over someone that is SUPPOSED to be “on my side”. The same group I have vocally given HIM crap over not supporting.
