I was fine until I finished eating supper and then when I went to the car park I was convinced I was being followed and then this guy was sitting in his car and I got paranoid there was a plot thickening on me.
I’m still shaking and feeling terrible.

Man I hate when folk are just sitting in cars. Freaks me out. For what it’s worth my meds don’t take these thoughts away either.
No but I was convinced people were after me with sniper rifles waiting to get me.
Luckily I’m feeling better now but nothing triggered it.

I have experiences like that frequently, and I take my Haldol meticulously.
For what it’s worth, my pdoc says meds target hallucinations but there is nothing that targets paranoia itself. I’ve certainly found that to be the case. I’ve been on Haldol, Zyprexa, Abilify, and Geodon and none of them touched my paranoia.
I agree. That’s what kinda annoys me about taking meds. 99% of my problems are paranoia so why should I take meds
