I skipped all mine too… Don’t really feel regret about it though… I also magicked my self out of all school pictures… Except the senior picture…I snuck into that one every year but my senior year…ha…like a ninja. I hope you doing OK man…

I didn’t go to prom or the high school dances either. I went to one middle school dance and stood in the corner like a weirdo the whole time. That was enough for me.

I didn’t either… I was actually, amazingly, invited to prom. I wrote that poor boy a three page letter about why I didn’t believe in “prom”. I was pretty intense.

I was homeschooled. Never had a prom, a dance, friends, a parties, or even a graduation.
Honestly though, I think these things are meaningless.

I went to my prom and was completely ill with a fever and a ruptured ear drum before the night was over.

I missed all my High School dances too. I went to Elementary School dances though.

I dropped outta school due to bulling teachers and some classmates. then years later I jumped into A+ Certification and got my A.O.S Associate of Science.

I remember more… I had a date for my senior prom just a friend…we both dressed up…on the cab ride over we decided to watch a movie instead… Then went to the tree bar for the after party…Germany… It had a very old tree growing up the middle…the bar wrapped around the tree and the building wrapped around the bar for 4 floors was cool…had more fun doing that than I ever would have pretending to dance…lol

I went to Junior prom. Didn’t go senior year. Five years later I married my Junior prom date. 24 years later still married to her.

I didn’t go to my prom, but the year afters.

Ive never (been);
in a wedding (except my own)
had a party at my house,
driven through a car wash,
on a utility bill,
paid for a concert,
ordered online (for myself)
traveled alone,
skipped school,
called for a Dr’s appointment.
this list could get huge, but if y’all will excuse me, I’ve got to dash out to check out that moon.

I went to exactly one dance and I didn’t talk to anybody except my two friends, even though I danced with some girl. I missed my graduation ceremonies too. But actually I got a GED AND a diploma.

I never did drugs or smoked.

I never did fight in school. always ran away.

I never did hear anyone call me “boyfriend.”

but knowing my past, I’m okay with these absences.
