Using the term ‘normie’ to describe someone… is just like referring to a person with sz as a ‘schizo’. The labels are unnecessary and no ‘they’ are not normal. They got there own imbalances and issues too. I wouldn’t think for a minute that there is a person on this earth that has a breezy life, not even the rich and powerful. I take comfort in that. I may not have a job or a partner or stability but I have positive aspects in my life, people who care about me and things that bring me joy.etc I’m not normal but I can’t think of anybody who is. It’s all relative.
I don’t believe in labels nor stereotypes, the world I’ve seen has been full of too many exceptions and unique individuals to think of anyone in terms of a label or stereotype. I really don’t judge, I believe humanities greatest flaws can be seen and lie in simply people pushing their opinions, likes and dislikes on others. I believe this to be the microcosm to the macro that causes wars and atrocities.
What I believe is if you’re not harming anyone else than you have every right to be who you are, be wierd, be normal whatever that is, be one of a kind thrust into a world in which you can’t be, be that if that’s who you are. If they took you’re sense of self in some insane criminal conspiracy, you’ve got every right to find that self you lost. There’s a lot of ignorance out there though I don’t understand even the basic foundation of the world I’ve lived in all my life. Blindness as if there’s some religion not to be questioned and I was unknowingly put on the wrong side of whatever’s going on. Who I’ve always been, which I’ve struggled with and to be, isn’t quite what the majority wish me to be. I feel they’d better believe me dead or homeless eating out of dumpsters, which anyone would probably put up with anything to avoid that life in my experience.
Be you’re self it’s all you can be.
Thank you, a much needed post!
