There's mice in my walls

As titles says. I’ve only lived here for like five months, and this was never a problem till tonight. Im thinking i should be calling the council tomorrow morning as soon as possible?

Im terrified.

There’s mice in my cupboards. I’ve already caught two of them. I need more traps.

That’s terrible. Can you call pest control?

It’s probably mice. A lot of old homes have them.

Mice are usually shy and don’t bother people during their sleep.

Maybe you can record the noise as proof for the council as they might try to claim it are hallucinations.

Younger brother was here earlier, he heard it too.

Mice in mine. It’s not the end of the world. It can be annoying when your trying to sleep late at night.

I had mice in a new apartment. I used peanut butter on sticky traps. Caught twelve in about two weeks. There was non after that. Sticky traps with a dab of peanut butter in the middle work well if it is mice.

I went through that too this year. Mice in my wall and into my kitchen drawers and lower cupboard.

Never saw them in the upper cupboards or on the floor, but they left their nasty droppings in the cabinets.

Like you, I was terrified they’d chew out of the walls. I know that fear well!

We don’t have them anymore. We used those box traps with the poisoned bait in them. The mice eat it and go die wherever they’re hiding.

I’ve heard mice will chew their legs off on the sticky traps. There’s no freaking WAY I’m dealing with that!! :face_vomiting:

Edit - I still won’t use those areas where the mice were!!

Just caught another mouse on a sticky trap.

There just mice, they won’t hurt you. Put out some traps. There not going to hurt you while you are sleeping

A humane plastic mouse trap with some bait in it is what you need. Have fun catching em before releasing outside into nature.

they disappeared, idk why, but they’re not there anymore, i still called pest control though. so hopefully they never ever come back
