It was really awful even by my standards. Which is to say I have almost no standards and still thought it was a stinker. It wasn’t even a “good bad.”

If you think of it as a futuristic martial arts movie it is okay. What it had to do with Star Trek is beyond me.
Michelle Yeoh probably liked the role as a “bad girl” as she is usually a heroine in her films. I’m surprised other than that why she stooped to be in this garbage.
The writers were involved in Discovery as well and that was a garbage show as well. My opinion of course.
