They’ve really knocked me out today
on one hand I wish I had a benzo script, on the other I watched my ex wife, married at the time, come off benzos…it was horrible.
Yeah i don’t take them often so they are all powerful when i take em
they’re weaning me off diazepams at the moment that I was on in the hospital. 2mg twice a day to 2mg once a day so I think I’m not that bad. I seen some Scottish documentary on yt about Benzo addiction and it isn’t pretty. Apparently there are many back market benzes which are fake and additive, It ruins lifes.
i remember when i first started clonazepam its effects would last 2 days. it kinda sucked tho that whenever i smoked a cigarette after clonazepam itd seem to cancel out the effects and my td would come back
I tried ativans. They made me feel like crap lol.
Long acting benzos like Klonopin when taken as prescribed are life savers.
I admit that they get a bad rap and that’s because many times they are misused.
You have to be very careful when prescribed a benzo
It’s a balancing act
They put me on promethazine. This works good for anxiety and restlessness.
Do you think being put on a benzo, for 6 weeks is too much?
It depends how it’s used
If you follow your doctors orders and take it as prescribed then you should be fine.
The staff give me my meds as I’m deemed I lack capacity with taking meds. A new things they decided.
Ive had Diazapam prescribed for 12 years but i only take occasionally when im in a bad way. Most of the time i use self help like having minimal stress and distraction helps, listening to the radio , going for a drive or a walk
My hubby keeps my meds safe for me, just gives me a few to handle at a time. It helps because ive overdosed many times in the past, but not recently
@anon29983254 I’m glad it works for you. I’m not good with my meds. I left hospital today and they send my meds in another taxi after me because I can’t be trusted.
