Their argument

Right now people are trying to tell me I have to accept a whole lot of unwanted attention because I accepted the situation. That is total bull because there was no way I could have ended the situation. If I tried to confront them about it they would have verbally beat me down. But okay, just for the sake of argument, let’s say I accepted a certain amount of the situation. That might allow a little of the unwanted attention, but not very much. It might work if, say, that semester I went to the appropriate authority and said, “I can’t live with what they have done to me, and I demand satisfaction.” In that case, they might be able to counter by saying I accepted the situation, so I have to let it go. But I sure as hell didn’t accept people twenty miles away poking their nose into my business. I didn’t accept people in Oklahoma City poking their nose into my business. And I sure as hell didn’t accept people from Tennessee poking their nose into my business. There are only about ten thousand lies surrounding my case. This is about the rights of the individual. It is about the rule of law. People are placing their own caprice above the rule of law. The law is 100% on my side.
