I got a shot today. So far I notice nothing going on. Who here has got the vaccine?
I got the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine yesterday.
I’ve had some side effects such as headache, body aches, slight nausea and low grade fever 100.6 F. I took some Tylenol for the headache.
Wow. I hope the effects go away soon. Gonna watch though. Get to feeling better moonbeam
I got the first Pfizer vaccine this morning.
I got my first shot on 2/13 and I get my second shot on 3/13
We got our 2nd injection 3/2. No side effects here.
I’m experiencing a few side effects.
I hope you feel better soon @Moonbeam. I have read that it only lasts a day or two
What side affects are you having @roxanna ?
Not so bad then. Hopefully that’s all you get
Good for you @roxanna!
Hang in there.
my gp doc said she chose me as one of the few people she can come give the shot at home cause she knows if she doesn’t do it that i will never get the vaccine.
I think i should get it pretty soon now… but i’m not impatient about it as i don’t fully trust it…
I had the pfizer one early this month, no noticeable side effects. Was spooky in the vaccine center though.
I hope your side effects subside quickly.
My side effects subsided within 24 hours except for a lingering headache (the headache is milder than it was yesterday).
Thanks. Took some ibuprofen. I’m giving it a couple days. I think it will be okay
When I spoke to the Dr. about my side effects, she mentioned that using anti-inflammatory meds to treat side effects may reduce the immune system response (that is causing the side effects) which may be counterproductive. She said as a preponderance of caution that she would recommend using Tylenol rather than anti-inflammatory meds like ibuprofen, if possible.
That makes sense. I haven’t took but two ibuprofen. I’ll try I hope.
I get the first vaccination on Wednesday next week six weeks later get second
