The training was too difficult for me

I think I’m not ready to work just yet.

It was a sushi type of place.

The 0 hour contract one.

At least I gave it a try.

Thankyou Smokes, I haven’t given up though, I’ll try again in the near future.

Maybe with something more realistic for me.

There will always be jobs that just don’t work out. I tried dishwashing at a brunch place and I only made it a month before I was let go

Kudos to you for getting out there and trying!

Restaurant work is pretty tough.

Yea it was so fast paced and you have to be so accurate… I was actually making the sushi!

And plus the worst is the pressure,

—be perfect or my hours drop

Since it’s a 0 hour contract

Yeah that’s way too much pressure.

I know I couldn’t be that perfect!

I’ve had a million jobs. Been fired 900,000 times but was successful at some. You just never know what’s going to work and what ain’t until you try it.

You may surprise yourself and find a job that just fits on a few levels.

Thanks Nick, I really do hope so.

I’m glad you found a job that you can excel in too…

Apparently it was amazing, yea. Thankyou Abise

I don’t excel at it but the boss never says anything bad to me. But it’s an example of what I’m talking about. It ticks a lot of boxes. It’s easy, pays well, and the hours are good. And I work by myself 90% of the time. It didn’t start off good but it got better as time went on.

The company that hired me hires the disabled and veterans. It’s a real job but in some ways we have little perks that a regular, normal job might not have. Maybe you can check around and see if there’s any employment agencies or vocational programs in your area that helps get jobs for disabled people.

That’s how I got several jobs.

Idk… I guess it is worth a try to do that I’ll ask my mental health nurse…

Thanks Nick…

That’s awesome that your job ticks a lot of boxes…
