The Scream

#1

The Scream

I feel its wraith consuming me, it burns
It rises within me repeatedly
Alone, hidden, concealed from sight, Solitude for miles
I feel it ascend and crave release
The ache, the hurt, the turmoil, the disorder
A powerful storm to end the agonizing confusion, the pain, the torment
I desire so greatly to consent to this sensation
A release beyond release
I hold back, I don’t want to, I want it gone
Time after time, again and again
I cannot seem to allow the scream.

Do You Ever Have To Scream?
#2

I tried intentionally to scream once but it didn’t work. Nothing came out but the empty sound.
