The Por's and Con's Are very simple

The Pro’s of taking your medication I have found is that you at some point being to feel more normal, but then we get the Con’s of feeling to normal like something isn’t right and then the crazy thought of not thinking we need the meds due to the fact that we feel so good.

This is something I have struggled with for a very long time , and I am sure that you all have had it happen as well to each of you .

So I would love to ask simply what would be the best advice for anyone about their meds form each of you .

It’s been a year n I still don’t feel normal. How long is it meant to take.
To feel normal.

It takes as long as it takes . . . I once went nearly a year before the med kicked in.

I’m sorry you aren’t getting what you want from meds!

Hey jayster
Is the term they use for that “med-resistant”?

I’m not trying to dodge your question . . . I just don’t know what term they give it. Maybe “treatment resistant”?

I take meds cause i ve been on meds for a long time (30 years). Later on i couldn’t see anymore why i should stay abstinence from alcohol and weed. So i started to use these drugs. Its in balance between reducing medication and drinking, smoking.

Tobacco is the worst!

I all know very well the absolute importance of taking my meds. I was batshit crazy for nearly ten years (years i will never get back), which involved the loss of my wife and prison sentances.

These past 6-7 years are like ive been born again - with a renewed and positive hope for the future. I could hold on to grudges as to why i wasnt picked up upon sooner by mental health services - but im forward looking now.

So take your medication folks - yes even when everything is rosy.
