The pet remembrance thread

This subject may be a little touchy for some, to be honest, I got a bit teary eyed taking the pic below. I have a couple photos of Cali somewhere but I cant find them at the moment. This was before I had a cell phone capable of pictures so I only have physical pictures.

My post is for Cali, a dalmation registered through the AKC officially as Cali Ann (my last name).

This dog followed me around like a puppy most of her life and I am tearing up again now remembering. It took me over 15 years to get another dog after her passing.

Below is a pic of rock with her ashes.

Also want to give a shout out to the other previous dogs, Brandy, Sofie and Kitt. Also Mutsy, who I dont remember well cause i was very young.

Feel free to post your pics of past pets or just their names if you wish.

This is in memory of Charlie. Got her after being diagnosed when I had to move back to mum and dads. Lasted 20 years and was a great feline. Didn’t like most people but loved me. I miss having conversations with her and so miss the kitties.

I don’t have any pics but my favorite dog ever was my baby “Skunky.”

She was half lab, and half border collie. She was all black and had white running from her chin on down to her belly.

I picked her out from my aunt’s dog’s litter.

I’ll never forget that dog. She was just the sweetest.

I can’t remember exactly what happened to her, but I think she ran away. This was long before people had the knowledge that getting their pets fixed was for the best.

Wherever you are Skunk, always love ya babe!!!

I lost a cat one time… back in college. had a 3 day weekend… one of my roommates left after I did. We were all having vacation.

Anyways cat got out after I left. Hard not to resent the guy who locked up and left town with my cat stuck outside for 3 days… Never saw Crono again.

However the little one at the time is still around going on 14 years.

but yeah RIP Crono… Strong elegant little panther of a cat… He was a big cat. So kind though… woundup with hickeys on myinner elbows cause he’d just lick and scrape and lick away when I held him… and When I was sleeping.

I had a black German shepherd named Max. I never even had to house train him. He would go to the door everytime he needed to go from the day I got him.

Every meal time he had his own chair he would jump in and wait for his plate. He thought he was human lol.

RIP Max

Rest in Peace to my sweet old pup, Nikki:

We adopted her from a shelter when she was about 11 years old, and took care of her until she passed.

Nikki was a Cocker Spaniel-Poodle mix who was deaf and going a little blind, but she was there in a flash if somebody ever opened the refrigerator .

She came on a cross-country move with us, sitting right next to my mom and me in the UHaul. She was the best girl the whole way.

Love you Nikki

This is Rigby.

In his usual stance of begging for food before dinner time.

He was the sweetest dog my husband and I have ever had and a good boy in every way.

I miss him constantly.

We rescued him from a home where he was tied up on a short lead outside all day.

We had him about ten years.

He made everyday a little better.

Miss you, Rigby!

Oh my gosh!

Our old cat Soxy. She used to love getting under the bed covers with me during the winter.

Wonderful cat all around.

RIP to Shelly, Tiga and Casper. Two cats and a dog. They were all fine with personalities of their own. They were all family pets.
