This is a thread to remember and honor our beloved fur babies who have passed away. Feel free to share stories, photos, or any special memories of your furry friends here. They may be gone, but they’ll always hold a special place in our hearts.
Today my dog said goodbye and is gone. He gave us his whole life. Protected me even though he was only 7 lbs. I will miss him til forever. Life will never be the same. I love him. Goodbye and thank you for loving me for 18 years.
His last day with me.
aw, our poor Rooroo and Phideaux. Phideaux was a great pyrenees mix that was solid black but for one white front left paw. great dog…lived long…Rooroo was semi old when she passed…she spent her last six years as a diabetic and we worked vigilantly to keep her stable on her insulin dosage. still glad, she had some great last years…we still have three dogs that we rescued all on our street.
Thanks @Wave!
@SpringRose I dont know if you’re the tattoo type but I had Mickey’s paws cast about three years before she passed, and I took it to a tattoo artist.
He made a template and now Mickey’s paw is over my heart.
That is so sweet @MissMickey. I do have three tattoos. It used to be six, but I removed three. I’m holding at three, plus Marley’s paw print is so big, lol.
My husband is framing her paw print. He might agree to a puppy next summer. The thing is he’s more congested when a dog is in the house, but we had Marley for 11 years and three months. He took an allergy pill and loved her. I told him we don’t have to get another dog.
An allergist said I was allergic to cats in 2006 or 2007 when I did the allergy test. We had two at the time and I kept them. I have some congestion, but still have three cats now. I got every single one myself. I love cats…dogs too.
Lost my tuxedo cat earlier this spring we took him to the vet because his mouth was so messed up and the vet said we need to put him to sleep it was a really bad day brush your pets teeth you guys
Callie looking annoyed after being caught sneaking out the open patio door. She had just turned nineteen before I took this. She passed six weeks ago and is still sorely missed. The hard part about adopting older kitties is you don’t get to know them for long enough.
She was so pretty .
