there is a comedian here who has the same effect and he makes his living as a comedian mocking people with all sorts of ailments, at first its really funny but after five minutes you just know that it is wrong and the humour wears off (with me anyway) it starts to get really wrong and i dont like that, makes me feel really bad.

I didn’t know that. That’s really f*cked up. Which guy is it?

That’s so funny and clever! I had tears laughing at it!

his name is Frankie Boyle, a lot of people like him but i dont like him much, i think he would be a lot more funny if he just toned it down a bit or even a lot, lol.

I totally get that. I do love love love Maria Bamford though. She makes jokes about mental illness in a very personal, and considerate way and i think she’s absolutely hilarious.

she seems really nice, i’m listening to an interview she did getting help & getting better

idk if she is being genuine though, i think she is but not sure, i mean idk if she is in character, i dont think she is, it seems really genuine

She has bipolar 2 and has done all kinds of in patient. I like her jokes because she has been a participant in mental illness, instead of a mere spectator. I despise people who have some big f*cking opinion of mental illness without having one. I always tell the stigma-pushers, if you want an opinion on my illness, you try having it first.
