Watched the Argentina v Netherlands game and it got a bit nasty towards the end. Lots of yellows but I see Messi survived even with a blatant handball. Not too impressed by that sort of behavior in a game as it’s a little too far over the top. Anyways…Argentina carrying the torch for South America in the cup.

I laughed at Brazil but I felt bad afterwards. Sometimes it feels nice when the underdog wins something.

Saw England go out with a Kane missed penalty. Always promise a lot but France scored a couple of good goals from field play so deserved to go through. Not this year England.

5am my time it’s Argentina v Croatia. I’ve had a couple of mornings without games to watch when I get up so looking forward to a game in the morning. No idea on this one as saw Argentina in a couple of games and wasn’t that impressed. Croatia played early so missed their games but you don’t make the semis of the world cup two tournaments in a row if you don’t have any game.
Who are you on for the final? I think it may be Argentina v France…but here’s hoping to another result. I’m jumping on Croatia in the morning simply because Argentina beat Australia in the prelims.

Had a heavy storm come through this morning early so the rain knocked out our satellite. Ended up missing most of the game but will try and get a replay later in the day. 1 team from South America in the final vs either a euro or African.
