Are watching our house. They have been for a few days now. They stopped waving too. I think they’re going to try to break in again.
Did you set up your doorbell that can tape them? Are there any days no one is home all day? Can you ask a neighbor to keep an eye out?
Our neighbors have robbed us before and we caught them. We can’t trust any neighbors as we are in a bad area. We have the camera working. I’m often home alone, and after they recently broke through the lock and got in I’m nervous they’ll come back with a gun. The police here never help us. I don’t have s gun, but I’m starting to wish I did.
Do you have a lock on the top that slides across? They help. Also, can you keep your phone close by so if you hear someone trying to get in you can call the police…even though they aren’t helpful? Maybe keep a knife in every room (only if you are safe with them)?
Knifes should be used carefully. Baseball bats, especially metal ones, are pretty useful.
We have the door bolted. I could keep a knife around.
Smart plan. Do you know the other locks I mean? The ones you place at the top of your door that slide across with a chain on them?
Yeah but they’re easy to break
Get a cheap $25 camera on eBay that monitors the front of the house and you can talk to the crooks through your phone into the camera. That must be scary being broken in to, sorry that happened. Can you report the neighbors?
Wait what? They broke into your house?
We’ve reported them several times. The cops don’t do anything. We have that camera but it didn’t stop them from breaking through the door
Yeah. Last weekend in broad daylight with our car in the driveway. We were home when it happened.
Did someone beat his ass? Was he on drugs?
Sheesh, what scuzzzbags
They ran as soon as they saw me.
Be careful. 764445556666
I own a wooden Louisville slugger bat.
I keep it next to my bed.
You could get bear mace from the store if needed.
