I feel like I’m on track towards treating schizophrenia cheaply.

This is like my singular personality trait right now.

In 4th grade I did really well on some writing test and my teacher read my essay to the whole class and they clapped. I was so embarassed.

In high school, despite being slow and uneven, my one teacher really tried and wanted me to go a year ahead in writing and English. It never happened, but I was automatically put in AP and Honors classes despite never putting any effort or trying at school. I barely graduated and tested in remedial english in community college because of my grades in high school.

In my remedial english class at community college, my teacher wanted to save my essay and put it in one of her books. I’ve been told I’m a good writer. But for some reason, towards the end of community college, I took an English literature course and was told im a terrible writer. I got an A but it was hard. It could have been the beginning of cognitive decline from schizophrenia or my learning disability from aspergers syndrome. Maybe I was overwhelmed. I almost got a B. I worked my ass off.

I took English honors in college and got a B because I was immature, lazy, and wasnt prepared for the work. I deserved the B but wanted an A.

I should have stuck with electrical engineering in college and should have gone to a low ranked local school and not listen to my peers. My life might have been much different. Unfortunately, I cannot change my past and I seem to be stuck in groundhog day for eternity with schizophrenia…

Math and physics were my worst subjects which can be seen in upper division math courses where I got straight Cs. Its the language barrier from abstraction and cognitive decline so much so I thought I had mild dementia in college.

Luckily, because I was young, I was able to rewire my brain for math through hardwork and tutoring because of neuroplasticity. I think i finished all the math classes at community College by 21 years old. I should have done better. I took the easy professors at community College and the hardest ones at university lol.

Oh well.

I think i suffered from narcissism or something before my illness. I dont know. Maybe not. They tried diagnosising me with it as a teenager and I remember staring at the mirror a lot…lol.

I also lacked empathy and compassion which has since changed due to my intense change and suffering from mental illness.

I am kind
I am loyal
I am brave
I am grounded
I am wise

I felt they were making fun of me when this happened to me.

This happened at 12-13 y.o for me.

I don’t kill myself.

I try to be kind and care about how my actions affects others. I am a good listener, I am caring… I have been told I am a good writer.

I can be really funny. I’m a great listener and I care about people. I’m fitter now at 50 that when I was at 29 when first diagnosed.
