It’s been cool here lately. I guess summer’s finally over. The leaves are falling off the trees also. It’s my favorite time of year.

yep my walking path is covered in leaves so im not walking out there. will probably mow/mulch the leaves in the next couple weeks. I’d do it now but all the leaves haven’t fallen yet.

It’s +24c here and I just saw a wasp in my house. I think he’s confused. He thinks it’s still summer.

My state borders VA, Ohio, KY and PA. We’re about 8 hours from NJ and NYC

I hate wasps. We have several wasp nests all along the edge of our house and the front porch. I hate yellow jackets, too, not that anybody asked.

I was cutting down some briars for my dad this summer and some yellow jackets 
flew up my pants and stung me repeatedly.
I started taking my pants off right there in my front yard. My dad was outside with me. I didn’t care
I was on my back steps today eating a piece of pizza and the damn chicken came up and stole my pizza. Life in the country

Yeah once the yellow jackets start stinging you they don’t stop. Similar thing happened to my mother. She was doing something in the yard one time and got attacked. She had to run in the house pulling her shirt off. It’s awful. Sorry they got you like that.

It doesn’t hurt that bad. I just know stories that every time yellow jackets come around people start stripping 
My grandmother took her pants off in the front yard once too. It happens to a lot of people

We had a noreaster (big storm) of rain a few days ago with lots of wind and it is like some trees lost all their leaves at once. But some trees still have nice foliage.
