The Joker and Erotomania

Does The Joker have Erotomania?

After watching Batman, I analyzed Joker’s behavior and his belief system, and I wonderd if he has Erotomania. He is so obsessed with Batman and believes that Batman is in relationship with him.

His obsessions and thoughts about the relationship with Batman is pathological, there no doubt that he has Antisocial Personality Disorder and Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

I guess that’s possible if you are talking about the new “Joker” movie.

The terrible one.

It’s in all Batman cartoons, movies, shows and films as well.

I don’t know about the other batman interpretations,

But I googled “does the joker have erotomania” and got this:

Joker protagonist Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) is a complex character depicted as having a serious mental illness. In addition to experiencing symptoms of depression, Fleck exhibits signs of psychosis characterized by erotomanic delusions , ideas of reference, disorganized thoughts and possible hallucinations

The article was about how characters shouldn’t have to rely on some mysterious mental illness to have interest.

but we don’t want mental illness to be a bad guy, do we?

That’s what the article was saying, @Daze.

no idea. many, going after somebody, cartoons, and comics.
the greatest thing is they never succeed.

can you name me one death in these? I’m not too schooled.

I’m not sure what you’re asking,

But the article basically said movies like “the Joker”,

Ones that are going to be violent and scary,

Shouldn’t just rely on mental illness as a reasoning.

It’s lazy writing and they have little understanding of the illness itself.

You might have this mixed up with brokeback mountain

Joker just seemed to be offensive, and maybe mad about everything, idk, he wanted to cause problems. so does my brother, Jason.

Sorry about your bother.

And yes, the latest “Joker” movie was offensive to me too.

do you remember seeing the SpiderMan sitcom, or slight cartoon back in the 90s. don’t even know how we got it, no cable or anything.
we loved it, kids and me, right after school it came on.
cheering for him on all the time, and good story line.

I don’t know if I remember that,

I would have been pretty young and my mom didn’t let us watch TV.

Glad you liked it though!

He has personality disorders that contributed to criminal behavior, it’s more than psychosis.
