i quit using AI art apps the other day because the pics it was sending creeped me out and were kinda sz triggering too. i did like some of its creations, but every now and then it would weird me out.
i used to ask my alexa if she could communicate with other AI’s and she would only say she sees herself as an aurora borealis. whatever that meant…
There has been a suddent wave of ChatGPT generated essays being submitted at my wife’s online school where she teaches. She had to deal with three last week. The big givaway is that students who struggle to write a bad paragraph are now turning in three page essays with excellent grammar and spelling. I think one is facing expulsion becaust of the number submitted.
I like reading Gary Markus, his twits and blog posts dedicated to the recent developments of AI and neural nets seem level-headed to me. He discusses benefits and malefits and seems to be resistant to hype.
Back when I was a kid, people looked over another student’s shoulder to copy off their paper when they cheated. 
This was of course, before dinosaurs , like you, roamed the earth.

Lol alexa already has 
so true lol! did you know that you can go into Alexa settings and check every audio Alexa heard? settings, alexa privacy, review voice history. sometimes she catches audio that i wasn’t aware of lol…i need her to remind me to do daily chores and to go to appointments, so i just assume my alexa is not secured and go about my business lol
