On SZ.com forums is it meant to mean that you “like” the content of what someone posted or to show support for them around what they posted. Like if someone posts something terrible happening to them, you’re technically “liking” that by pressing the heart.

I also use it to show affection and support for community members who I care about.

I always had that issue on facebook when I used to use it as well. The like button was confusing like that back when thats all they had.
I sometimes use our like to show approval and other times, mostly in my own topics, to acknowledge the persons post and that I have read it.

Dang, thanks @shutterbug. I had a period where I was in a bad relationship and did act like a douche to people but that’s in the past. Btw I think you’re funny. That post about gummy bears cracked me up.

I use it as a like and also an acknowledgement. So it can be a support button.

I think people need to be careful when using it sometimes bc what if you used it and it wasn’t appropriate to use the like.

I use it for support too. Sometimes if someone posts something and I don’t have a response I’ll like it instead.
