so coffee makes me throw up. im throwing up less than last summer, where i would throw up about 50% of the time, now it’s like 5% of the time i throw up after a cup of coffee. im not sure if its the coffee or the creamer, anyways, this winter i had about 5 puke piles outside, and an animal ate them. just yesterday i threw up some chili after a cup of coffee. i wasn’t sure if it was a raccoon eating it, or a fox, but with the snow, i was able to identify the fox footprints and lo and behold my chili pile was gone this morning. so im pretty certain it is the fox getting a free meal. sorry tmi.
Poor fox !
Why on earth are you drinking it then?
dad asks me the same question. it is habitual and i enjoy relaxing in the morning drinking a cup of coffee. im trying to transition to green tea, but drinking coffee is habitual. i just can’t stop myself from drinking it, even though it makes me throw up sometimes.
i drank it for years no problems, it’s only been the last year, the problem arose.
You should try a coffee alternative that tastes very, very similar to coffee. In the UK it is called “Camp” and it is a chicory essence syrup.
Perhaps that won’t make you puke!
Strong black coffee without milk on an empty stomach can make me vomit. Maybe add milk and make it less strong?
Also eat before or with it?
typically i only throw up on an empty stomach, but on rare occasions after a meal. and it’s only dad’s coffee. the gas station coffee isn’t as strong and doesn’t make me throw up when i drink it. the instances where i have thrown up after a meal, was because i didn’t allow enough time for my food to digest and drank coffee right after my meal. i really need to stick to tea, which i enjoy, but the coffee is already made and it takes a few minutes to boil the water in the teapot to make tea. typically i drink coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon. sometimes i use milk in my coffee, but most times i put in hazelnut creamer.
it’s acidic, or so I’ve been told. do you get burning or pain?
I take a pill for that, if you don’t want to give up coffee,
but I absolutely had to give up beer.
no i don’t get burning or anything. if i drink it too fast i will throw up.
and good for you on your sobriety, im down to one glass of wine a week, but haven’t had any for 2 weeks. it’s given to me with a meal, i don’t buy the stuff. i would like to quit altogether, but i don’t have the willpower to stop cold turkey. if mom and dad stop it will be easy for me to stop, they have never had a problem with alcohol and never drank when i was growing up, but now they have a glass of wine with their meal once or twice a week.
