I think like many fears, it’s about something that had already happened and one is alerted to the idea that it could happen again. With me, I failed kindergarten and, years later, I feared failing at college. But, by the grace of God, I got a B.A. though it took me 5 years.
So, don’t let your fears rule you. One swallow doesn’t make a summer.

I used to worry so much about failure in high school that I would fail because I spent too much time worrying about failing.
I still worry about failure, but I dont dwell on it and I approach everything as if I’ll be successful at whatever I’m trying to do and so for I have been for the most part.

That would be a great quote for Senator Inhoff from Oklahoma. He made a snowball from snow outside the Capital Building and showed it on the Senate floor, claiming it was clear proof that global warming was a farce.

That’s one of the reasons,apart from the practical and social aspects of doing so, that I’ve always resisted calls for me to go to college.
