I beginning to think that big pharma pockets are soo fat, 16$ per 400mg Seroquel pill. Who adjusts figures to those prices? It’s like I have my own medicine, that costs roughly the same per ounce around the country. Why is there a conflict turmoil between health care costs? Some want to charge a whopping $1500 per refill of seroquel, while others $65. Can someone explain?

Hi - Seroquel (brand name) / Quetiapine (chemical name) is available directly from the pharma company that first developed it - or from the new “Generic” (identical copy) companies.
The pharma companies always charge a very high price for their medications - but then when the drug goes “off-patent” new companies can offer the drug for much cheaper. Thats why there is the huge price variance.
Buy the cheaper medication version - its the same thing as the big pharma company drug, and just as effective but these copies can live with lower prices because they don’t do Research and Development.

Try asking your psychiatrist, if you have one, for samples. The drug representatives visit psychiatrists offices and give them samples of drugs to distribute to their patients. I’ve been getting samples of Latuda, a very expensive drug without a generic, for years.
I think they will indirectly find at least a better medication by studying and developing cures for other serious brain abnormalities and diseases. like Multiple Sclerosis( which my sister has developed), and my late Grandfather’s Parkinsonian disease.

sz admin nearest or dearest might have suffered sz ot he might have other mental health issue or he might not have any of mental health issue… the reason iz that can a sz person really run a website full time .i think its kind of difficulty job…
I run over 30 Web sites for neurotypicals as part of a business I own. Either you function or you don’t. I function better in this area than neurotypicals. Neurotypicals remember to shower on their own without programming their calendars, however. I guess if you have to pick an area to function in, pick the one that pays.

In remembrance of John Chiko, I wish I could of met him and known his monetary aspirations towards treating SZ.
There are this is where I drop my intellectual wealth. There are lets say 2 modes of consciousness. 1. money 2. survival. Well Death has an agreement it’s the reason why we need MONEY to buy food. Eat or die. I can go on but my money making infrastructure has been planned out. So I’ll keep it in a language more affluent.
Medications are your deadline. You don’t take them your headed to = die. So you need the money fill that. Now develop a money consciousness for yourself. Not that OTHER conscious. I don’t believe that OTHER conscious needs explaining. It is the one that kept me from, understanding how the world REALLY works.
And money gets pushed in our face everyday, I’d have to charge you by book my story but, as long as a man or woman, with struggling illness , has a mind set of recovery, after that understanding, well for me came the real world… Money is a dimension. Some word porn for you. It speaks for everything. Death is why we should appreciate life. But I close by saying I like S’s with two lines through them $$ money makes us happy, yes, feeds us. I don’t know if the rest of the world will ever get it. But money nor God has the answer to what is working in us right now… Calories energy from the sun supplies all that.
