The cops came

I woke up before 1:30am because some people were shouting outside my bedroom window at the front of our house. The neighbors must’ve called the cops because the cops showed up. I thought about calling the cops because it looked like there was some fighting but I’m not a snitch. The cops separated and talked to the people. It looked like one person got put in cuffs. Eventually the cops and everyone else left. I couldn’t sleep after that so I made some coffee and now I’m watching Deadliest Catch. It’s gonna be a long day. It’s only 3:16am right now.

I wike up at 2:42. It’s 4:20 now. Have to go shopping kater. Long day, indeed.

I’ve had people (I think homeless) shouting outside my workplace before at night. Kinda freaks me out when it happens

I called the cops regularly when we lived in the condos. Guy across from us was a wife beater. Probably got him arrested half a dozen times while we lived there. You’d hear her screaming in pain and you knew he was drunk and at it again. Was kind of disappointed that the police were so professional with him.

That’s a good reason to call the cops. In the U.S. we have a saying: Snitches get stitches and end up dead in ditches. So that’s why I didn’t want to call the cops but I probably would depending on the crime.

So what? If you see a crime happening you have a civic duty to report it.

i would report something if it was serious without hesitation,

in-fact i have reported some of the kids here for throwing glass bottles from the roof of the shops, very dangerous and stupid thing to do, i reported them to the non emergency line but they never seem to get caught.
