The candle light ritual: back to the past

Again another Friday evening came. I recall watching the miniseries: Holocaust when I was a teenager. I watched it again in this week, it took nearly eight hours. It is the story of the family Weiss in the NAZI Germany, Poland and elsewhere in Europe. It is a really good presentation of lives during those dark times and how people tried to survive in the middle of the chaotic tyranny. So 44 years after the release of this miniseries it is almost as yesterday when I watched it decades ago. Have you watched it?

I can’t remember watching this. I’m in the early 40’s so maybe it was little before my time. But I watched other movies on the subject like the pianist, schindlers list and black book.

I haven’t seen that one. It sounds like it could be a good one to watch.

The Pianist, Schindler’s list and the Black Book are quite good movies. But I think that the miniseries Holocaust is best.
