My nan once told me around 3:30am is a very common time for a lot of people to wake during the night. Up until recently I was going months waking up at that time. It’s a nightmare. I had to just lay there and relax and eventually started to fall back asleep then it stopped. Have u tried this ? It’s difficult not easy. Hope your feeling ok.

Lucky, I wish I could get by on 5 hours a night

Don’t feel too bad at the moment . The trouble though is it’s a vicious circle. I’ll get to feeling tired later and go for a nap. The trouble is I’ll not be refreshed from the nap and a few hours later I’ll be napping again.

And the worst part is even if you don’t nap it’s so ingrained in your body clock you still only get the 5 hours sleep a night anyway. Been there. It’s hard to re set the body clock. But it can happen in time. How long has this been going on ?

Certainly since I’ve been here so at least 10.5 months . My stepdaughter even changed my curtains to one’s that let less light in.

That’s very true.

I think eventually it will iron itself out. I’m glad you have your stepdaughter she sounds supportive. I also have blackout curtains but they did me no good either.

My stepdaughter has been very supportive. She’s been much more hands on in supporting me than my birth family have ever been.

I do the same thing. I go to bed around 1230 am every night and wake around 430 am every morning. I take an AP at 430 am and that knocks me out around 8 am. I sleep in until around 12 noon then I’m up for the day. That gives me about 8 hours of sleep total. I have this pattern every night.
