We used to have the best seats in town, firework display on the other side of the water with the backdrop of downtown in the distance. Right out back on our deck. House I grew up in, nothing special but special as special can be all the same. They’ve moved twice since. 4th of July now is just when my cat gets spooked and hides under the bed.
