Testosterone replacement therapy

Has anybody taken testosterone replacement therapy for fatigue?

I hate not working or volunteering and want to do something about fatigue. Vitamins and supplements dont seem to consistently do the trick

Yes, 4ish years I was on TRT. Contemplating whether to continue or not atm. Need to do more research. Sometimes it helps with fatigue, other times not so much. I think it works by motivating me more via a more optimistic outlook on life.

I have very low Testosterone levels and my GP asked me if I would like to do the Testosterone replacement injections.
Don’t think I’m going to do it though
Too many negative effects from it.

You don’t want prostate issues. Trust me on this.

Not yet but Im in my way to it. I found out mines not even low, its almost nonexistent. Between the meds and low T, fatigue is ridiculous.

I’ve never had my testosterone level tested. I have no idea. I imagine it’s probably low considering my age. Never considered therapy though. Don’t know that much about it.

Same i dont know much about it. But i think it can be done safely with sensible administration

I see. Im going to guess it hasnt helped you enough to be able to return to work? Because thats my biggest reason for it

I take testosterone replacement therapy because of research studied damage my DNA and I require it it is not true that it increases your sexual behavior or you grow a third leg in fact it has increased my muscle mass and stop my organs from degenerating had I not have had the therapy I would be dead by now keep it in mind that at a certain age we deplete our testosterone but some levels are too low to stay healthy if you need this therapy please take it

For a couple of years I think it did help me, but I was on a lower dose recently and it wasn’t enough.

Does glucose has anything to do with it?

you have to know the exact cause of this fatigue to treat it well. it could be related to negative symptoms if schizophrenia or even antipsychotic induced fatigue. you shouldn’t take testosterone unless you have low level of it .and the most important thing is to inform your pdoc about your problem and i am sure you will get your problem solved

I have near non existant levels and im seeing the endo in april. Im 32 and i have 25% of what i should have. We will determine the best course of action.

One thing i know about synthetic testosterone is that it turns off any normal systems and this will be a life long choice.
