When people buy products from temu to sell on Amazon for 5 times the price. Would you still rather buy from Amazon?

Temu is well known for abusing the data that they get access to when you use their app.

I’ve ordered from both Temu and Amazon.
Amazon is better for quality items.
Temu is dirt cheap but usually of poor quality.
I bought a strap that said online that it was fake leather, but on the watch strap it says that it is genuine leather. They just lie.

I bought plastic pony beads, and they were exactly the same as the ones on amazon, in fact I believe they bought from there and sold on amazon.

When I want to buy something I usually Google the product and then you get all the prices from different websites and score the best deal.

I bought about 8000 beads for £17, had I bought from Amazon which £10 for 1000 beads, I would have spent £80. But I’m thinking of closing my. temu account now to buy from elsewhere even if it cost more.
prices have become more equal on Temu making it not so worth the 2 week wait.
some basic needs stuff are still better priced for cleaning supplies etc.
They are pushing aliexpress on uk tv at the moment

I shop from both, but I don’t use the Temu app. I shop at Temu through a secure browser on a Linux system. It does have some good deals.

Amazon is a monopoly and without competition. They can price everything. Diversify shopping saves money. I also buy from target and Walmart
Sad the ma and pop stores are shutting down, maybe they can sell online if they still want to own a business.

Well, I think it depends on what you want to buy.
I like shoes.
I bought 2 pairs of regular old shoes from temu on clearance for $30.
Both pairs fit very soft and comfortably, they aren’t made of gold but they look good and they serve their purpose.
They also have some interesting necklaces I tacked onto my order for a couple of bucks…
I even noticed that I was wearing the exact same hoodie advertised on temu for like 20 dollars less than what I paid on Amazon
Amazon has some nice stuff too, but I noticed that their prices for stuff like jewelry is way overpriced, and size scale isn’t the same.
I don’t really dislike either one.
I think there is good deals on either side.
But personally I will probably be shopping more at temu.

I filter them out of the search results so I don’t have problems if I need to return something.

Amazon is fine, as long as you read reviews and make sure you’re getting OEM items, and not knockoffs. TEMU is all knock offs.

Yup. But sometimes that is what I need.

I mean if it’s molded plastic or a shirt I’m sure it’s fine but I’d be wary of an open flame product from them. Just me though.
