How often do you charge your phone ?

Interesting. It’s not really a battery, this is a super-capacitor.

I don’t know exactly. Maybe once a day. But my phone spends most of its time sleeping, as I dont use it much. This matters less to me in terms of phone batteries, than it does to me for future electric vehicles when the tech advances to make it viable.

Charging my phone every day or 2 means little to me, since I do not use it much.

The article states that it is not suitable for vehicles as it a ceramic material and easily breakable at this stage. They even rule out phones for the same reason.

Viable for watch batteries though and laptops maybe.

Yes, at the current time. Thats why I said in the future…

The breakthrough is the latest step forward for a technology industry experts think can revolutionize energy storage, but which faces significant obstacles on the path to mass production, particularly at larger battery sizes.

I charge my phone every day.

If they are able to make the batteries last 100x longer, I’ll be a happy man!
