Just looking for tips. I’m on .5 mg of klonopin and spent a couple months quartering the dose and going down by 4ths. Problem is I was taking what was left over, over the course of the month, so I was still taking 30 a month. I’m gonna go back to taking .5 a day and start the taper over. Just had insane withdrawals and would like to avoid going through that.
We aren’t medical professionals so you need to talk to a doctor. All’s I know coming off off xanax was it was a long journey. I came off really slow and it took a while but it was worth it in the end.

Mind if I ask how long it took you? Where you able to avoid withdrawals?
Yeah it was over probably 3 months and no withdrawals to speak of or notice. Just did it incrementally slowly.

Here’s a post I made earlier :
I was on 0.5mg a day of clonazepam, and got horrible withdrawals. The way I eventually came if it was by slowly increasing the amount of days between taking it.
At the beginning I would take it every other day for 2 weeks, then every 3 days for two weeks, etc.
Doing it very slowly was the key.
Good luck coming off it.
