I was on Invega but switched to Abilify because of/due to akathisia.

How long does it take for akathisia to go away after switching meds?
I quit Invega and went to abilify due to side effects. Mostly avolition. I still have the symptoms and am a different person from when I began Invega…I believe it fundamentally changed me. It’s been months and I’m not back to who I was which concerns me. I don’t believe it is still in my system but I think it changed how my brain worked.
So, Don’t know when your symptoms will go away. It could be soon or it could be a fundamental change like I experienced.
