Has anyone else been suspicious of their Doctors and or/ Diagnosis?

No, never.
I am positive my diagnosis is correct. And doctors are always trying to help, but they are human and sometimes might screw up too.

My diagnosis is correct. But I don’t like or have faith in my current psychiatrist. I was diagnosed by a different psychiatrist.

I hated my first pdoc … I resented her because I didn’t feel listened to. I felt there was more going on than just psychosis. She said I was low functioning with sz. i had to get a second opinion to get my schizoaffective dx. After that I felt relieved but didn’t feel relieved until I got on a mood stabiliser with another opinion that suggested bipolar. It may well be schizoaffective but I’m happy I’m on a mood stabiliser
I was suspicious of my doctors at first, when I was psychotic. One doctor was named Dr. Thillai, and I thought it meant “to lie”, as in, he was lying to me. Feel stupid for thinking like that now.
