I’m on my way home. They explained to my husband the importance of taking my meds around the clock. He’s good with it now :slight_smile:

I’m in pain but I’ll take my meds as soon as I get home as instructed

Thanks! My foot and ankle now have a heartbeat but the nerve block is still helping. It’s slowly wearing off. I’m feeling occasional twinges of pain where they cut. The block can last up to 36 hours so I’m really hopeful it does. It usual wears off in 24 hours which for me will be in 5 hours.

It’s still possible @jukebox . The first 3 days are the worst im told so if the block wears off during that time, it could kick in.

I’m elevating consistently above my heart. Even slept sitting so my leg would stay elevated and I couldn’t toss and turn like I usually do.

Unfortunately, that also means I didn’t get quality sleep, but that’s ok,
