Where is this it looks so pretty there?
I was just over there in Europe in June. I went to Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and France. I was certainly struck by how beautiful the countryside is, and how beautiful the towns/cities were.
It’s just past midnight here in Alaska, so my Sunday morning pic was actually taken Saturday. This is my 7 month old puppy, Shadow.
It seems like a quiet place where you live @mjseu
Eastern Finland …
You got your phone connected to your new computer?
Yep, it is quiet here, Sunday mornings are also very peaceful, today it is quite warm, nearly 25 C degrees and I ride my bicycle a lot.
He’s sooo cute!
Well I will add Finland to my bucket list!
My old laptop’s keyboard is not functioning and I have to use the display keyboard to log in, then I can use Nokia Suite in my old laptop to transfer pics to my old laptop and then I transfer pics to the USB memory stick from which I can transfer pics to my new laptop and then I can post pics on the sz forum. Rather complex, but this is how it is now.
There are many places in Finland I have not seen. After coming back from the US in 2002 I have just stayed in eastern Finland. I was in Helsinki over 17 years ago and they have developed the city much during these years. Maybe one day I visit Helsinki. I have never been in western Finland and so there are a lot to see also for me in Finland. Lapland in summer would also be nice.
It’s very pretty in your little town @mjseu. How do you manage to get photos of entire streets with no people or cars? It gives the impression of being totally uninhabited.
Lol I was thinking the same thing!
I just take pics without any people and cars, in the Sunday morning there are not many people walking around, this is why it Is a little town, we have not so many people and I always take pics of places where there are no people. It is not a ghost town, but the ecommerce (the Internet buying) is felt also here, on the main street there are 20 empty business locations, I suppose people want to buy on the Internet. The town parks are well taken care of and it is clean here.
In one pic there is a statue, it is the shipbuilders statue, over 100 years ago they built ships here, this was during the time when Finland was a part of the Russian imperium and many ships were built for Russia’s market.
This would be Finland’s version of a ghost town gif, with a snowball rolling instead of a tumble weed.
Wow I wish I could live somewhere bikeable again.
How do you get gifs on here? Is it possible from a phone
You just copy/paste them similar to photos you find online.
