a well timed fart can cut through a room. literally. I was at the university today participating in a study. all these people around me with bright futures and jobs and normalness. I started to get nervous. we all got on to an elevator and I let out a god awful poof. it was of the ‘sbd’ (silent but deadly) variety but it relaxed me. no one knew who it came from, an anonymous stink. a man clears his throat. a woman shifts. call me gross or classless, I don’t care. a well placed and well timed fart can ease the mind, who knew?

to be honest, I didn’t do it intentionally. i’d just had a mcDonald’s sausage patty with egg- that was the culprit. and who’s to know how bad it would stink? let me tell you, this was some grade-A gas!
@reignoverme: now that would just be immature. I flatuate and am adult about it.

I think a good fart can be as satisfying as a good sneeze. But I’m pretty much always home alone, so no one to offend.
I could make the argument that sneezing in an elevator is more harmful than a brown cloud. with diseases and all… cutting one is momentary disgust
But aren’t you smelling poop particles?
But given an elevator… Actually, I think I’ll just never get on an elevator with other people. People are gross.
