Strange noises, now emergency vehicles. Feeling paranoid

A few minutes ago, there were these strange sounds coming from the ocean.

Not like fireworks, not like gun shots, more like sonic booms.

I don’t live near a military base.

It shook the house and upset the dogs.

I went outside to see what the hell was going on and other neighbors were out looking.

Now there are lots of emergency vehicles around.

There were like twelve of these noises. It wasn’t just a couple.

Don’t know what to think and feeling paranoid now.

I can’t find anything online about it.

Try to distract yourself, for now. Like, snuggle up in a blanket, sip a hot drink, and look at funny cat videos on YouTube??

Try not to be too worried. You’ll probably find out soon what’s going on, via the news or something. But until then, just focus on doing things that make you feel calm. :purple_heart:

Sounds like something blew, but if your home is still there you’re likely okay.

Hope your anxiety goes down.

First thing I thought was airplane crash but I have no idea.

Can you ask someone what happened?

All the vehicles passed me and went towards the ocean.

There’s no one to ask now.

My neighbors are as clueless as I am.

I might call the non emergency line for the police.

That sounds sensible. I’d want to know what is going on too.

Google it.

We were in Canmore, Alberta, this past February when there was a small earthquake. So many people searched it at the same time that Google returned that in the results and said could be a possible quake because of similar searches from my location. They had confirmation of the quake within half an hour.

I did google it and am still not able to find anything.

I called the non emergency police line and the woman couldn’t tell me if there had been other reports,

But she said it’s most likely a military base the town over,

It’s been closed since 1994, so I doubt that.

Hmm. . .

That Could Be A Key To The Problems Occurring Now.

Don’t Consider Looking Into That Vault Online. Especially From Some Government Official.

It Could Cause Something Obscenely Horrific.

Better Safe Than Sorry.

Think About The Pups. . .

It could have been a powerline exploded or something like that.

Powerlines don’t explode. Transformers do though. But why would they need all the emergency vehicles for that?

Good point. I meant transformers. But yeah, thats very strange.

Still no idea? I am dying in suspense.

In all seriousness, I hope everything is OK.

Sorry guys, but I still haven’t figured it out.

But I went to the grocery store and the woman at my checkout heard it too.

Very strange.
