every time I go to sleep I have a strange dream that wakes me up.
This morning I dreamt that my adult daughter and I were at latchkey and there was some kind of carnival going on well one of the workers kicked my daughter and I became irate. Told him don’t kick Holly. He said Holly deserves to be kicked I’ll kick her if I want. On and on it went back and forth until I decided to report him to the site director. I found the site director through all the goings on of the carnival and couldn’t figure out how to pronounce the workers name. Finally after about 10 minutes of everyone trying we finally figured out his name and the director said he was the heir to a very large fortune and the grandson to a very important person so my complaint would have to go through the office.
I worked my way through the carnival and through these catacombs to find my way to the office and I had to wait a long time to get to talk to someone. Well I told the person this man had kicked my daughter at latchkey and she told me where to go. When I came around she was already standing there talking about how this man was the heir and so important and the receptionist at the office told me the lady I needed to file the complaint with wasn’t there yet. She wanted to know what the worker had done. When I told her she said how important her was and how he was this congresswoman’s intern and how she was going to lose her job if I reported him. I started screaming I didn’t care if everyone loses their f-ing jobs this guy kicked my daughter 3 times. I waited for a while and got angry that the lady never came and threatened to call the newspaper if they didn’t tell me she was going to come. Eventually they told me how long it was going to be and I stormed off threatening to call the paper.
I made my way back through the catacombs to latchkey and the worker was there as if he was waiting for me. He had a smile on his face. I had two necklaces in my hand. I walked around him and up some steps and stood in front of him and gestured for him to fasten the necklaces on me. I felt as though I was getting away with something because the necklaces were long enough that I could fasten them and slip them over my head. Then I handed him the second necklace and when he fastened it he said it was expensive. Knowing it was only 5 dollars I dishonestly agreed by said at my age I appreciate a 5 dollar necklace as much as a 100 dollar necklace and actually like the ones I make the best. I then said the last one I got was one I made myself.
Then I crawled on top of a table that was covered with all of my trinkets and my mini glass bottle collection and into a precariously balanced chair and knew and he said today was a good day. I told him even though it was early today had been long and hard and that I was sorry for what I had to do.
