My pdoc (who I haven’t even met) seems to have not liaised with my gp so haven’t got any of the new med.
Not sure if I can make it through the night

Update. Only got 3 hours sleep but feeling a bit better after my morning meds.
I am hoping that within 7 days I can start my new med

Withdrawal can be horrendous. I used to be on
800mg qutiapine and I quit it cold turkey. Mannnnnn was I ill. Im glad I did it though. Haha

Oh man. I have heard horrific things about quitting quetiapine cold turkey!

So just checked my prescriptions online.
The depixol depot has been stopped and has been replaced by depixol oral tablets.
But also they have halved my quetiapine (seroquel) from 400mg a day to 200mg a day.
I would welcome a reduction in this med but halving it seems like a big jump? Think I should contact my team in case this is an error?

Ps the depot withdrawal is over now and in fact I feel very good right now. Kinda wary of all this extra change

So you’re on tablets now? No more depot? Btw Flupentixol is a drug I am interested in potentially switching to

Yeah the depot has stopped and is being replaced by tablets.
I think you’ll be okay @el_Jimbobbio . Just be sure to take your meds as prescribed and try not to skip any doses.
