Stop smoking/vaping program I'm in and other stuff I'm doing

I’m in a stop nicotine program and I haven’t bought a vape in a few weeks! The program sent me a bunch of nicotine patches and mints and it’s helped a lot! My worst part is waking up so I keep a patch on my bedside table open and ready (you have to use scissors to open them) I leave the backing on until I put it on. The person who is managing my case is supposed to call on April 7th day before my birthday and I’m proud of myself… It’s not easy but I’m not begging to buy a vape and that’s a win

I’ve also started doing a morning routine at my vanity! I put a bowl of water at my vanity every night with a fresh wash cloth along with anything else I need to wash my face! My entire morning routine is at my vanity except my false teeth but I feel more comfortable at my vanity than the bathroom I even keep my no water needed makeup remover at my vanity and I wash my face in the evening while I shower

I take evening showers and my husband is doing morning showers

We’re trying to get more of a route into our lives and I feel good about everything

Try and reframe them as “rest” days. Don’t think of them as a failure, just as you taking a break on the path to progress. Try and avoid things that are demotivating.

That’s great that you’ve stopped vaping! Good job! I know it’s hard at first but it gets easier, it really does.
