I don’t think drs check for breast cancer in men
The breast cancer awareness thing is solely because it’s breasts and women. Prostate cancer affects more people. Breast cancer isn’t even the kind of cancer that kills the most women, and all kinds of cancer are overfunded. Breast cancer in women is probably the most overfunded illness there is today. I consider all the campaigns for funding research on this type of cancer ignorant and stupid. I would never support this cause as things are today, and I hope everyone who reads this thinks twice before doing it themselves. Spend your money where your money is more needed. Breasts are not worth more than lives.
@anon9798425 thank you for posting the image. I’d have thought suicide would’ve had more deaths than it did. But i suppose its more teenage deaths that make the news. I agree spend your money where you think it needs to be, not exactly where it is more needed.

My grandfather died of prostate cancer.
My father has had prostate problems, but as yet no signs of prostate cancer.
As someone with breast cancer, I am truly appreciative of all the money donated. There has been so much progress in the treatment of the different types of it in just the past 10 years. I think research in any type of cancer is good for all types. They learn from each failure and success that translates across the different types of cancers.
I’m not donating to breast cancer and I didn’t do the walk/jog this year because i am not able financially or physically. Definitely research the organization you are donating to because sometimes very little of the funds donated go to the cause.
