ALCAR (Acetyl-L-Carnitine)

ALCAR (Acetyl-L-Carnitine) is simply a more neuro-active, acetylated version of the amino acid Carnitine. While usually used as a pre-workout supplement, ALCAR has plenty of evidence showing its neuroprotective, neuromodulatory, and neuroregenerative effects, as well as its ameliorative effects on memory and learning in cases of cognitive impairment, brain injury, or cognitive decline due to aging37–49. While most of the things on this list primarily act on the D2 dopamine receptor, ALCAR actually upregulates D1 receptors and does not affect D250. It also seems to exert antidepressant effects via modulation of glutamate receptors51,52

I dont have bipolar anymore since my zinc intake.
My moods stay pretty stable and zinc prevents psychosis.
My manias are all gone

I just wonder if there’s mineral for sz other than zinc

High dose cdp choline works for negatives.
I took 1000mg first which relieved me from blunted emotions after several hours and now I took 600mg more.
The study is with 2500mg but I dont want to go that high.

Yea but these substances can’t be purchased by the public. What supplements are there that are D1 agonists and that are on iherb or Amazon?

@Ale

Matcha tea is working for me with cdp choline

I use matcha, I like it. I ordered yesterday Choline Bitartrate, its 40% active choline. I mainly ordered it for fatty liver diseases. How different is it from citicoline?

That was what my parents were going to name me. My brothers, Tylenol and Co-Tylenol, are jealous they just named me ‘Mister’

I dont know, but cdp choline increases dopamine density and increases the amount of dopamine receptors.

I’m going to try suntheanine with cdp choline. It does d1 and d2

Matcha gives enough intensity of d1, but it doesn’t last very long. Need to find something better

Matcha’s anxiolytic effects are due to the activation of dopamine D1 receptors and certain serotonin receptors .

Now I’m trying 4 grams of glycine as beta blocker, matcha, 600mg cdp choline and cogentin to block too much acetylcholine as it can cause anxiety and depression etc.
I do feel pretty normal now with enough motivation and positives are very low.

I’m trying to imitate clozaril’s d1 upregulation etc with lesser symptoms somehow so I can stay on risperdal.

@anon67051439

I’m mixing my matcha with coffee. Matcha alone isint activating enough with glycine.
I’m getting that activating calm feeling.
