I am calming down a little bit from having mania so last night I went back down to 10mg, but I will Have the 20mgs of Abilify in case I need them and can increase when needed my Dr said I did the right thing by increasing when I have manic episodes so she shouldn’t have a problem with me tapering back down to 10.Will update at a later date on how I’m doing and feeling on the 10mg

I’m on Abilify once per month injections…and take olanzapine as needed when I start spiraling down the rabbit hole.

How does that work for you Abilify injections once per month? I mean do you have any side effects from it or the same as you would on the Abilify tablet. Just curious I thought of having Abilify injections at one time but think I would get tired of the jab.

I went to injections for a few reasons.
I’d get lazy taking my meds on time. I’d miss doses and think I could cope without the pills. Got tired of taking meds every night.
I get jabbed now 12 times per year. My Psychiatrist wants me to try a newly-approved Abilify injection which lasts 2 months. I’m not that keen as I am doing well as we speak…don’t want to chance a relapse with a new med regime.
