Started using all natural deodorant and I stink. Will my body adjust or do I have to adjust to not smelling great?

Exactly what the title says.

I started using Lume deodorant and it advertises 72 hour odor protection,

But after one day I can smell my pits.

There are some theories on the internet that this goes away with time,

Others say all natural deodorant is just like wearing none.

What is your opinion/experience?

I met a person who had stopped using commercial soaps and deodorants - was hardly bathing and then only with plain water. They told me that their body adjusted after two months and the BO went away. In all honesty, it hadn’t.

It’s called “scent blindness”.

I tried a natural deodorant and it was garbage. My body odor cut right through it, as if I was wearing none. I shower regularly and keep good hygiene, but O do sweat a lot during my workouts.

I was in psych wards that just have roll on deodorant. The scent didn’t last long. I also watched a video about roll on deodorant in prison and the guy said it doesn’t do anything. When I use deodorant the scent disappears within a few days. I think I’ll have to go back to antiperspirant.

I tried one many years ago and the stick smelt of my BO after I used it a few times. lol That meant I was wiping on a stick that smelt of my own sweat.

Pointless.

I thought it would be better designed by now.

The best deodorant I have used is Degree Motion Sense. Lasts for 48 to 72 hours.

Any particular reason you liked everybody else’s posts except mine? @Charles_Foster

Just wondering if it was a personal jibe… Best to get it out in the open.

I’m sorry,

I just didn’t see your post!

I’m starting to agree with you that it’s pointless.

Yeah those type of deodorant don’t work on me.

My bo goes straight through them and I stink.

I’m wearing dove deodorant now as they recently became cruelty free.

Charles my sister heard me complain about the poisons in antiperspirant and she bought me some Arm and Hammer Essentials Naturals Rosemary Lavender. It’s free of aluminum, parabens & phthalates. It works nicely. Maybe you could try that one.

I see those Lume commercials on TV a lot.
Honestly I think it’s some sort of scam.

I dont trust the lady in the commercials.

I think she is the founder

Years ago, I was using regular deodorant while in cosmetology school and one of my lady clients complained to my teacher that I had B.O. My teacher demanded that I use antiperspirant instead. I’ve been using Secret powder scent antiperspirant ever since and I’ve never had any complaints.

I use Old Spice deodorant even though naturally I don’t have body odor.
I don’t perspire at all so I don’t need an antiperspirant
