Natural deodorant

I found 2 natural deodorants that actually work! Schmidt’s sensitive skin - all scents, and Native deodorant for sensitive skin. I’m not trying to sell this to anyone. But I’m excited they work for me. Cancer runs in my family and I react to a lot of things including regular deodorant so this is s huge bonus for me!!! Yay!

I’m allergic to perfumes, so need no scent or natural with no chemicals

Schmidt’s has no scent either for regular skin or sensitive skin. I’ve used that too. I’m really happy to have found something natural that works!

I use crystal essence. I like it because it does not have an antiperspirant. Dove and Secret deodorants left yellow stains on my white shirts.

Crystal essence doesn’t work for me. But I’m glad it works for you!

Hooray for you! It’s so hard to find a good natural deodorant. Cancer runs in my family too so I set out to find a good deodorant and I too found Schmidt’s to be excellent!

The regular Schmidt’s with baking soda burns my arms. But their version for sensitive skin works so that’s what I use.

I get irritation. I will try their sensitive skin deodorant. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks for the heads-up. My scent allergy has been a right bugger lately, so this is of interest to me. I’m finding that a lot of the brand name hypoallergenic products … aren’t.

I found a sale on de-odorant. I bought enough to last me until my armpits rot off from old age.

Yeah. I tried a lot before finding Schmidt’s unscented for sensitive skin. Be careful if you buy it because they also have unscented that not for sensitive skin

I use Schmidt’s Charcoal deodorant! It works for me. :slightly_smiling_face:

Do you use the regular or sensitive skin formula?

I think mine is regular. I got a big pack from Costco. Normally, the regular would cause an armpit rash, but this one doesn’t for me.

It has baking soda in the regular, which gives me a rash. The sensitive skin formula has magnesium hydroxide which doesn’t cause a rash in most people.

i’m going for a Schmidt lol

but seriously is it good for the planet? cause i love that sort of thing

Oh! Yeah, the one I use says “Charcoal and Magnesium”.

I just checked the ingredients. The regular charcoal-magnesium deodorant by Schmidt’s has baking soda in it. That will cause a rash on a lot of people.

Oh. Hmmm. Well, I’m glad you found one that works for you.
